GOOD NEWS TO CHESS KNOWLEDGE SEEKERS!
Cyber Chess Academy has gone one more step ahead in the promotion of chess, and created a huge library comprising of over 500 Chess Books. This library was inaugurated at the Cyber Chess Academy premises at West Marredpally, Secunderabad, on 14th February 2010 (Sunday) by Shri Harpreet Singh (IAS), Managing Director of A.P. Diary Development, who was honored as the chief guest of the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, he said that he felt very happy for having a very good chess library in the city premises. Seeking a Chess Book from abroad is a rarity while India does not produce quality books for the connoisseurs of the game.
Speaking on the occasion, Asian Gold Medalist and International Master Lanka Ravi said that, as convener of the Academy, he felt proud for having created this facility for all the players of the state. They can now become members of the library and use all these facilities. The library contains books on all the World Champions, all Openings, and several middle game and endgame books.
Major Jha of Indian Army and Dr.Rajendra Prasad of Apollo Hospitals were the other dignitaries who graced this occasion.
